Oh what a time! We happily introduce you to one of (y)our new favourite spots in Eindhoven. Bar Pietro! A cozy bar where we embrace the Italian way of life. Good food, slow pace and great company.
Bergstraatje
After lots of hard work we have opened the door to our lovely corner spot on Eindhoven’s Bergstraat/Grote Berg. Our beloved Bergstraatje. It’s a small and cute street (locals know) and very much in the centre of Eindhoven. We’re so excited to be settling here. Find us amongst a lot of other small shops and lovely places.
A bar?
A bar, a restaurant, a cafe, lunchspot. We just really like the word bar. We will mostly be open until 18:00 during the week. Serving schiacciata’s and a couple of tasty bites. But we do love a good glass of wine or a nice cold Spritz. So yes, bar!
On Fridays you can (you should) visit us for aperitivo and a small but mighty set menu.
Schiacciata
If you manage to pronounce ‘schiacciata’ right the first time: bravo! More importantly: it’s a golden brown, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside sort of Italian bread. We make sandwiches with it, adding fresh ingredients and homemade spreads/sauces. We’re certain there’s one to love for everyone.
Aperitivo
Then! Aperitivo.
When the afternoon starts blending into the evening and sandwiches make room for Spritz and bites. We stack up our deli-fridge and keep the nibbles coming.

A Novel
Who is Pietro? It’s Pieter! True Eindhovenaar who loves good food and the ring of his name with a twist. He has a really big passion for food and creating a joyful life.
There’s a big part of Pieter that’s most flattered by people thinking he has Italian roots. He loves simple sandwiches with big flavours, an espresso done well and a glass of wine that makes you hang around just a little longer. To host people, tell you what’s on the menu and make sure you’re short of nothing.
A long time dream coming into existence! A place where Italian ease meets Eindhoven. Whip up a chair, bring loved ones and let’s enjoy together.
